The Course Equivalency Guides tell which SCC courses transfer to either or all of the three state universities in Arizona. In addition, if they do transfer, the guides tell whether the courses transfer as exact course equivalencies to one of the university's own courses, departmental electives or general electives. Be sure to look at the appropriate column for each of the three state universities - Arizona State University, University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University. Course transfers to other colleges and universities are determined by those respective colleges. Contact Dr. Kavanagh for help in querying other colleges.

To access the current Course Equivalency Guide, click here and then click "Maricopa Community College District" and then
"AJS - Admin of Justice Studies.""

To access the Course Equivalency Guides for the past years, click here and then fill in the boxes in the top light blue box as follows:

                            - For "Academic Year" hit the dropdown arrow and select the academic year in which you took the course,

                            - For "Source Institution" hit the dropdown arrow and select Maricopa Community College District,

                            - For "Course" type in AJS and

                            - Hit the "Query" button at the very bottom of the box.

You may then scroll down to look at all the courses. Be sure to select the column for the state university to which you wish to transfer the course.
