DescriptionThe Crime Scene Technology Certificate courses teach students to "process" crime scenes. Crime scene processing includes safeguarding the scene, locating physical and biological evidence, sketching and photographing the scene, collecting and packaging evidence and, later, testifying in court. The courses in this program are useful to police officers, detectives, crime scene technicians, criminalists and anybody interested in this popular and fascinating subject. |

Program Competencies 1. Use the appropriate techniques to identify, interpret and classify fingerprints and explain the problems associated with the development of latent prints. (AJS213) 2.
