HEAD COACH
Bob
Swan
|
|
If you know about softball in the Valley, you
probably know about Bob Swan. He is another new
asset to our coaching staff at Scottsdale
Community College. Bob is currently finishing a
season with the Phoenix Storm. His team is among
the best in the Southwest. Bob coached multiple
United States National Champion teams in the
past few years. He also has experience on the
field; he played on several teams during his
career. We are really proud to have Bob heading
the women's softball team. Most of his coaching
style originates from his days served on the
United States Marine Corps.
While Bob served for the U.S., played softball
and coached he remained very persistent with his
professional career. Bob received his Bachelors
degree in Education at the University of New
Mexico. Then he went to Fresno State College to
complete all the requirements for a Masters
Degree in physical education. Finally, Bob
earned his Juris Doctor of Law at the University
of Arizona. Ever since then he has been
practicing law. He truly loves serving as both a
lawyer and coach.
Coach Bob Swan promises to do his best during
his first year here at SCC. We are eager to
watch the progress of the team this upcoming
season.
