SCC Rebounds to Defeat Glendale

The Scottsdale volleyball squad, fresh off of it first ACCAC loss of 2005, responded with a 3-1 road victory over Glendale. Making the victory even sweeter is the fact that Glendale entered the match undefeated at 7-0 in the ACCAC and ranked #3 nationally. The Artichokes' victory pulls them into a tie for the ACCAC lead at 7-1.

Glendale opened play quick out of the gate and took game one 30-16. The Lady Artichokes fired back to win the second game 30-20 and the third game 30-26. Trailing 16-23 in game four, SCC rallied to take the game and match with a 30-27 win.

Scottsdale will host South Mountain on Friday, September 30th at 7:00 pm.
