About your Instructor: 

I have been involved and employed in Forensic Science for more than 21 years. I have worked with the Scottsdale Police Crime Laboratory for over 18 years. I have over 20 years experience in forensic science and 10 years in teaching, instructing and consulting, including my employment with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in Washington, DC. 

I presently hold Certifications as a Latent Print Examiner, Senior Crime Scene Analyst, Footwear Examiner, Arizona Law Enforcement Instructor, Arkansas Commission of Law Enforcement, California Law Enforcement Instructor, teacher with Maricopa County Community Colleges, Advanced PADI scuba diver (search and recovery) and a professional clown. 

I hold elected and appointed positions with the International Association for Identification's footwear/tire tread sub-committee, instructor's certification board, public relations/marketing committee and the Board of Directors. 

I presently serve with the Federal Mass Disaster Team in body identification (DMORT-Team 9). In addition to numerous college credits in Police Science and Chemistry from Northern Virginia Community College and Scottsdale Community College, I hold a BS/BA degree from the University of Phoenix and presently completing my Masters degree in Education with NAU. 

I also own my own private business; Forensic Identification Training and Consulting

I am significantly, a husband and father.
