SCC Moving Company is one of the student companies at SCC. The Moving Company is made up of dedicated dancers who were accepted by audition. The company focuses on dance in its wide range of styles: modern dance, ballet, jazz, African, and dance theatre to name a few. These dancers are versatile and are exposed to many new ways of moving while learning discipline and commitment. Training requirements for the SCC Moving Company includes a Ballet or Modern Class and a Pilates body conditioning class. Rehearsal commitments involve 4 hours of weekly rehearsal as well as extra time when needed. Auditions for the Moving Company are at the beginning of each semester.

SAJE is SCC's newest dance company and one that focuses on the exciting style of jazz. SAJE dancers are also accepted by audition at the beginning of each semester and perform for SCC Dance Performances as well as events in the community. This tightly knit group is led by director Jennifer McKusick and primarily perform her unique style of technique and choreography. Training and rehearsal requirements for SAJE are a Ballet or Modern class and jazz class and three hours of rehearsal per week.
