INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS FACULTY
The faculty in the International Business Program is composed of professionals with many years of experience in the fields that they teach. Most are currently practicing professionals who bring real-world techniques in the classroom.
| Richard Baron | Introduction to International Business |

American Graduate School of International Management;
M.B.A., Arizona State University; B.S., Industrial
Engineering. Mr. Baron has both an M.I.M. from the American Graduate School of International Management ("Thunderbird") and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University. His undergraduate studies were in industrial engineering. In his over 10 years of experience as an engineer and international marketing manager, Mr. Baron has done business in Canada, Latin America, and Asia. Mr. Baron is proficient in Spanish and has published several articles. |

B.S., Arizona State University Ms. Emmons graduated from the American Graduate School of International Management ("Thunderbird") with a specialization in international marketing. Her career has included management and marketing positions at several Phoenix-based corporations. She speaks French and has lived in Europe. |

| Ivan Huish | Mexico, Central and South America: Business Environment |

B.A., Brigham Young University. Mr. Huish is a graduate of the American Graduate School of International Management ("Thunderbird"). He serves as a Commodity Manager at Phelps Dodge, where he has had extensive interaction with the companys mining operations in Mexico and Chile. Mr. Huish studied International Studies and Spanish at Brigham Young University and lived and worked in Mexico. |

| Susan Peterson | Introduction to International Business; International Marketing |

B.A., University of Oklahoma. Ms. Peterson received her M.B.A. in Marketing and International Management at the Wharton School of Business. She has 10 years of marketing experience at multinational corporations such as Gillette, Johnson & Johnson, and the Dial Corporation. Ms. Peterson also studied at the University of Aix-Marseille in France and speaks French fluently. She currently teaches daytime courses in international business and is the International Business Program Director for Scottsdale Community College. |

B.S., Arizona State University. Mr. Raby attended law school at Notre Dame, completing additional coursework at the University of London. With 15 years of experience at law firms such as OConnor, Cavanaugh, et al, in Phoenix, and Baker & McKenzie in Los Angeles, Mr. Raby specializes in tax planning and international law. Mr. Raby has published several law articles and is an active speaker on topics such as tax planning for multinational companies. He currently runs his own law practice in Tempe and conducts international business and legal transactions. |

University of Illinois Mr. Rotstein graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois and is currently the Vice-President of International Services at Norwest Bank Arizona. With 25 years of experience in international financing at major banks such as Norwest, Citibank, and First Interstate, Mr. Rotstein is one of the states leading experts on letters of credit and global banking. |

| Morgan W. Tanner | Cultural Awareness |

B.A., Brigham Young University. Mr. Tanner has an M.A. in History from UCLA and an M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from BYU. Having lived in many different countries around the world, Mr. Tanner has language skills in Hebrew, French, German, and several near eastern languages. He is also fluent in Spanish. Mr. Tanner has published 13 scholarly articles regarding other cultures and has taught at BYU and Mesa Community College. |
