As with most Associate degree programs, it takes around 2 years to complete the AAS in International Business if you go to school full-time. The Certificate of Completion takes around 1 year.

2. I work full-time and cannot attend school in the day. Can I still complete the degree in international business?

Absolutely! The program is geared toward people who work full-time. All courses needed for the program are offered either on weekday evenings or on Saturdays. There are a few classes offered during the weekday, but these are geared toward full-time students.

3. Can I transfer credits to other universities toward a bachelor’s degree?

Credits from the international business program will transfer to all universities in Arizona. Some universities will accept the credits only as elective credits, and some will accept them as credits into a business degree. For example, the University of Phoenix accepts all the credits into a BSBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) program.

4. Can I transfer credits from the program into other community colleges?

Yes. All credits are transferable into the exact same course offered at other Maricopa County community colleges. However, it must be noted that only three other campuses offer the program in its entirety right now: Paradise Valley Community College, Rio Salado Community College, and Mesa Community College.

5. I am not interested in a degree but would like to just take some courses. Can I enroll in the program on an "à la carte" basis?

Yes. Many students who either already have college degrees or who are not interested in a degree currently simply enroll in the courses in which they have interest.
