PROGRAM STRENGTHS

The International Business Program at Scottsdale Community College offers the following benefits to the student:

Faculty experience: All instructors have several years’ of business experience in the areas which they teach. You will never find a novice or inexperienced teaching assistant conducting international business courses at SCC! Included in this manual is a list of the current faculty and a brief description of their professional and academic experience.

Small classes: Classes are kept small, so that students receive much individual attention. The largest class is no more than 30; most classes average around 15 to 20 students.

Focus on practical learning: Students learn by practicing their skills in various group projects, individual papers, assignments, presentations, and solving business problems through the case study method. The focus on learning is "real world," not just academic theory.

Strong foreign language program: Foreign language is integral to the international business program.  SCC offers one of the strongest language programs in the state in both evening and day classes. This manual lists the languages offered on campus.
