The International Education Programs office next to the Bookstore has a resource shelf of information about cross-cultural communication, working and volunteering abroad, and application materials for teaching and researching under the
Fulbright Scholar Program
or International Faculty Development Seminars with
Council on International Educational Exchange.

Each year, the District Office of International & Intercultural Education generously offers the opportunity
for faculty and staff to internationalize their programming
through
Innovation (Internal) Grants.
|
|
Mini-grants funded through SCC's International Education
Programs office are also available for faculty and staff for
professional development and curriculum aides in
international education.
SCC Mini-grant applications
are to be submitted by the first of the months of October,
November, February, March and April. The International
Education Committee will review and award mini-grants each of
those months. The maximum amount available is $1800.

International Staff Exchange programs to the Netherlands and
Mexico are available to approved, eligible SCC employees.
Faculty and Staff alike are encouraged to apply. In
addition, a three-week University of Arizona language and
culture program administered by Paradise Valley Community
College in Guadalajara, Mexico, is available each summer for
accepted SCC faculty and staff. Applications are generally
due every February. Watch for details…
