Assignment for November 20, 2007 1) Download WinPP (easiest to do from here. After you download it, extract the files all into the same file--I usually put it in "Program Files." Then you can either launch the program by double-clicking the icon "WinPP.exe" or--this is what I do--place a pointer to that file on your desktop. The assignment sheet assumes that that's what you've done.) 2) Also download the model file (named in your protocol and linked directly underneath where your protocol is posted). 3) Use WinPP to analyze your model. The model files and assignment sheets are posted under "Data" on this site. Posted 11/13/07 Assignment for September 18, 2007 1) Read material on the University of Michigan's Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology (here) and read the UM CMB student/faculty handbook. 2) Visit the student website for the program in which you are interested, read the material for current (not prospective) students, and be prepared to report your future program's requirements with the group.
